(Because there can never be too much coffee. Well, until there is, but I digress.)
Anyway, I was informed by my friendly neighborhood home assistant this morning that today is Employee Appreciation Day. To celebrate, I’m going to honor all my employees with appreciation here on the internet for everyone to see.
Me (as boss): Mary?
Me (as employee): Yes?
Me (as boss): I appreciate you.
Me (as employee): Oh, thanks.
Me (as boss): You’re welcome. Now, get back to work.
(Seriously, my boss is the worst.)
Can you yet tell I didn’t have anything I wanted to talk about this week? But hey, as I mentioned in my flagship post, the purpose of this experiment was to be a human on the internet. I ask you, what’s more human than just not knowing what to say sometimes?
So if nothing else, I hope this brought a smile to your day. And since I really don’t have anything else to say, I’ll cut this short so you can get back to appreciating your employees/being appreciated by your boss (who I seriously hope is nicer than mine. Sheesh. *looks around furtively*)
